PMC A-list medical universities in China for Pakistani students

After completing their bachelor’s degree, Pakistani students embark on a great journey to enter medical school and fulfill their dream of becoming a doctor. After registering for medical school entrance exams, students rush to the examination centers after months of preparation.

According to The News, the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) successfully conducted the MBBS/BDS 2022 session entrance test for its 13 medical colleges and 5 dental colleges and affiliated colleges across the country and AJK simultaneously, with around 50,000 candidates sitting for the test.

However, only a few of these students were selected for these medical and dental schools, while the rest stayed on to pursue other opportunities. Every year, a large number of students drop out due to the limited number of seats available in Pakistan’s medical schools. Aspirants then turn to other options, seeking foreign universities to study MBBS in China.

China represents a country potentially willing to accept these students in universities that are not only ranked A by WDOMS, WFME, WCAME, FAIMER, ECFMG, and PMC but are also ranked as the best in the world. In the latest tweet issued by the PMC on unrecognized and unaccredited medical and dental schools, “all applicants applying to medical and dental schools abroad are advised to check PMC accredited medical and dental schools only with A-rated schools leading to direct licensure.

The qualifications of all other categories of colleges are not recognized on an equal footing and are therefore subject to different licensing modalities as notified by the PMC.
